Built for 5v5, nothing else

Routr does one format, and it does it well. Every field, formation and template is drawn for IFAF 5v5, the format of NFL FLAG, most youth leagues and the 2028 Olympics. Pick a situation and Routr draws the right field: open field, first down, red zone, or a one-point or two-point try.

There is no account to make. Open the app, follow the short first-play lesson and draw. Your plays live on your device.

Start from a real play

Routr comes with twelve template plays. Each one has a formation, routes at set depths, a read order and a note on what it beats. Open Mesh Drive, choose Use This Play, and the copy is yours to change.

Drag from a player to draw a route, or tap to add straight legs that keep their corners. Drag any point to reshape it. Pinch to zoom, and undo up to fifty steps. Build the run game too: a handoff, a pitch or a reverse.

See it run, then put it on a wristband

With Routr Pro, line your play up against Cover 0 to Cover 4, man or zone, and watch it run with the defense moving. Pause on the throw and ask your quarterback where the ball goes.

Then print it. Pro exports QB and player wristband cards at real band sizes, call sheets and PDF pages. Pin this week’s calls in Game Day so the set you print is the set you call.

Send it to your staff

Put your plays in a folder and send it as a playbook file by AirDrop, Messages or Mail. Sending needs Pro. Your assistant opens it in Routr for free and the plays become theirs. Send a fresh file when you change the week’s calls.

Where Playmaker X fits

Playmaker X covers four to nine players per side and runs on Android and in computer browsers as well as Apple devices, with cloud sync between coaches. If your staff is split across Android and iPhone, or you coach several formats, that reach is its strength.

One price for the whole playbook

Routr is free for your first five plays. Pro unlocks everything for $4.99 a month, $14.99 a year or $29.99 once, in US prices. Every Pro plan includes the same features. See Routr pricing, then build one of your own calls and print a test card with the wristband guide.

Take your next play to the field.

Five plays free. No account.
